JTC Furniture was an interesting challenge for Meridian Marketing as they were a company with a large marketing department of their own. What thye sought from us was a different perspective, a fresh outlook and a new strategy designed to help promote the new high-end kitchen range, and make JTC’s product attractive to more housebuilders. JTC was distinctive in that its main business was in the contract furniture market – supplying universities, hospitals, schools, local authorities with standard furniture units built to precise and uniform specifications. |

This client is a property development company that owns Merchant Square in the heart of Glasgow, a magnet for people looking to relax in Scotland’s largest and busiest city. Our challenge, as the appointed marketing consultants, was to create footfall that would increase the trade to the tenant retailers, restaurants and bars, to make Merchant Square so attractive that tenants were prepared to pay high rents for a site and to improve the value of Merchant Square as an investment for the property company that owns it. |

the country’s leading vehicle salvage operator HBC is an example of a business who outsourced their entire marketing and public relations function to Meridian Marketing. We were their Marketing Director from outside, working on the inside. We managed press relations, issued news releases and edited and produced their newsletter. We helped them to target new business, manage corproate hospitality events and create their company brochures. “Rob has come up with ideas: these he has converted into projects and those projects have been turned in on time and on budget. This is because of his attention to detail and his continuous understanding and interest in the activities of my company” Terry Holding, Chairman, HBC Group |

global online logo design service/supplier of marketing materials with logo LQ is an ambitious company driven by an owner-entrepreneur with big plans for his business. The problem was that Simon is a salesman and IT specialist and his operations staff is a combination of general management and customer service personnel. There was no marketing expertise to create the awareness and interest for this innovative and pioneering service. Meridian filled that gap, providing dynamism and ideas on how LQ could get closer to its clients, find out more about their needs and deliver on them. Our retainer arrangement with the client enabled us to become a business ally working very closely on brainstorming and implementing marketing initiatives designed to draw more people to the company and its extended range of services. “Rob’s support at Meridian reinforced our self-belief and motivated us all to strive to reach our full potential, creating a teamwork ethic that helped build customer loyalty and open up new opportunities for us.” Simon McArdle, Proprietor, Logo Quality |

Quantity Surveyors – Edinburgh, Dundee, InvernessThis practice had no marketing department – and relied on their good reputation and the profiles of their Senior Partners to win work. Meridian Marketing delivered a marketing plan, but, more than that, was charged with developing a marketing culture for the firm. We had regular team meetings to coach and inspire staff members and encourage a collective responsibility for marketing the business. We staged events and anniversary celebrations to help their networking, we produced newsletters and press releases to raise their profile, we helped with targeting specific markets with particular marketing techniques, we trained staff in presentation skills so that they could better convert opportunities that arose “ Through our marketing we now maintain vital lines of communication with our past, present and future clients, as well as maintain a healthy workload” Brian Paterson, Senior Partner, KLM Dundee |
